These words have been the most difficult ive ever had to write.

I don’t like good byes but I feel I must write this out of respect to all the great friends ive met while living in America.
12 years ago I made a decision to leave my home in Scotland to follow my dreams in the U.S........ During this time I traveled over the entire country from Hawaii to Puerto Rico , California to Florida ….through deserts and mountains from Newport to New York. I saw so many inspiring landscapes and met many incredible people. This was my home !!
Many of those who knew me well knew my status in the U.S was unstable to say the least. I tried many times to become legal here but the circumstances and the laws were never in my favour. It was a long a painful process and after all these years I have realized that some things are not meant to be…….

I have made the decision to return to Europe. I’d like to see my family and my country that I’ve neglected for over a decade......This decision was not easy to make and it came with a penalty. The law for over staying my visa states I will be denied entry to the U.S for 10 years.
I’m going to miss every person I was lucky to meet. . It will be impossible to forget you all..................

I’m not the best at writing but I want to say, America is an incredible place, anything is possible here and I always loved that. The best years of my life were spent here........

Please forgive me for not saying goodbye. Its been too painful for me........I'm going to miss you all
In 10 years I will return here and I will look forward to seeing you all again.
