After John Denver we pressed on Westwards through the Rocky Mountains...........

We took a small detour up to Love Land Pass .......its ways up in the clouds

It was bitterly cold and the air was thin but the views were incredible

Colorado is wild still to this day

Down on the other side the land had changed drastically

This is spagetti western country

Its barren as hell oot here

Onto Utah.........

This is where earth starts to look real crazy

This is Moab in Utah.....one of the most inpsiring places ive ever seen

Giant canyons and columns of rock carved by weather over millions of years

These massive boulders are perched on tiny towers of sandstone...........one day they will fall and new ones will be formed

Trees are fossalised and twisted

Enormous windows are made from wind and sand that are 100s of feet around

This is Wolfe Ranch........super bro pioneer Mr Wolfe set out west and settled in amongst the huge Arches .......... Here he lived alone for ten years getting the hoose all fixed up ,

then he sent word and his wifie and his son joined him where they spent the rest of their days........

We hiked from Wolfe ranch up this long trail . the path was marked by piles of stones.....a few times we lost the way

The sun is blazing hot in the desert and the air is thin due to the altitude........we did this hike with nae water.....TFL safari...it was tough going
